Training Momentum is a more complex, capacious, and organic idea.
It goes beyond the precise planning of load progression—perhaps aligning more with philosophy than with physics (or other exact sciences).
The high level of chronic workload goes well beyond simply the sum of microcycles, serving as a consciously constructed, long-term architecture of adaptations that underpins meaningful tolerance to loading.
The beauty of the sciences lies precisely in their coherent, logically ordered structure. Which brings us back to the roots: as practitioners of strength and conditioning — people who literally work with movement in space — we should cultivate what in school was often dismissed as boring and unnecessary: physics.
